A moon-like landscape shaped by the elements was the perfect place to dream big and get creative on the bike and behind the camera.

Fabian Spindler and Philip Müller seem to be born on bikes, but leaving the trail and charging through unshaped terrain was a new dimension of mountainbiking for them as well. However they instantly adapted to the diverse challenges and did not hold back at all.

After scouting a couple of locations and discussing different lines, shots and ideas we got pleased with some nice weather windows and were able to get the backlit, warm and rough look that I was aiming for. Freeride ain't dead!
