Greece is known for its beaches, beautiful islands, rich culture and its history, but not exactly for snow and wintersports.
In the winter season of 2022 photographer Max Draeger and skier Philipp Müller ventured out to see if the Greek mountains are suitable for freeride skiing. With a storm cycle providing fresh snow, great advice by the locals and a bit of luck and good intuition, their expectations were by far exceeded.
